Week I: Announcement
Hi All,
You can find the list of this week’s work listed here.
Since last week was the first one, and it was short, and I mistakenly used the wrong password for the reading—I’m carrying over some of the work to this week. Please try to finish the list of items here ASAP.
Please send me your CUNY Commons username if you have not already.
And, as a reminder: please don’t post your responses as comments; use the blog writing feature on the site.
The rest of the items should be finished by Sunday.
This week I would like you to start using the hypothes.is social annotation tool. (This is the last platform you will need to sign up for.) Links for how to sign up, as well as a video guide are included on the syllabus.
I have also posted a general assignment for annotations and a specific prompt for this week’s annotations. Please use the prompt when you are making annotations this week.
I have also posted a prompt for blog post #2.
Finally, I would like you to start thinking about your first paper assignment, which is due next week.
I will be making a short-ish lecture-y kind of video in the next couple of days regarding the Culler chapter and a few of the poems from the syllabus. I’m waiting a little bit to consider your blog post responses, so that I can tailor it to your thoughts.
I will also be commenting on and grading your blog post assignments in the next couple of days.
As always, let me know if you have any questions.
