Introduction
My name is RongRong Mazzara, although Maggie is a name I also respond to. My pronouns are she/her(s). I earned an Associate Degree in Classical Music with a specialization in Voice outside of the United States. I am a mother of two children. Currently, I am pursuing further education in Early Childhood Education. As a full-time paraprofessional in a public elementary school, I am tasked with assisting the class teacher and providing support to students in need within the classroom setting on a daily basis. Throughout the ongoing 2023-24 school calendar year, I have had the privilege of working closely with autistic children across various age groups, gaining invaluable experience in the process.

Maggie, your dedication to both your students and your family is truly inspiring! Your background in classical music must bring a wonderfully unique and enriching perspective to your work in early childhood education, especially when supporting children with diverse needs, including autism. Keep up the fantastic work—your talents and compassion are making a meaningful difference!

Maggie, nice to meet you! I’m curious, are there ways that you have found to combine your training in music with your current work?

Certainly, when I incorporating music into educational practices, it not only improves children’s ability to focus but also provides them with an outlet for self-expression, fostering the development of their imagination and creativity.
